Edelweiss Swarovski Pendant Earrings
*In terms of jewelry, when you see the acronym "AB", it refers to the coating that gives glass stones a multi-colored shimmery effect similar to the Aurora Borealis. In collaboration with Christian Dior in 1955, the effect is achieved by vapor blasting the facets of the lower part of the crystals with an invisible, micro-thin metal sheet.
WHAT OUR EARRINGS ARE MADE WITH:
- 14mm faceted Edelweiss pendant, made in Austria
- Fish hook ear wire measures 14 mm flat fishhook with 2 mm coil and open loop, 22 gauge, gold-filled 304 stainless steel
WHY DO WE USE STAINLESS STEEL:
304 Stainless steel is a more cost-effective alternative to other precious metals, stainless steel is resistant to rust, tarnish, and corrosion even in tropical or humid environments. It also has a thin layer of chromium that prevents oxidation. Unlike other metals, there is no real need to polish it daily.
Even though we have had no instances of adverse skin reactions from our customers, some stainless steel may contain small traces of nickel, so be cautious when purchasing if you have a nickel allergy.
